Carnival of Sciacca

Description: One of Italy's oldest and most renowned carnivals, it features parades of allegorical floats, masked groups, and musical performances. The traditional masked figure, Peppe Nappa, opens and closes the festivities.

Period: The dates vary annually according to the liturgical calendar, generally between February and March. 

Feast of Our Lady of Help

Description:: Celebration in honor of the patron saint of Sciacca, with solemn processions through the streets of the historic center. The statue of the Madonna, adorned with jewels donated by the faithful, is carried in procession by barefoot sailors.

Period:: It is held twice a year, on February 2nd and August 15th. ​

Sea Festival – Feast of St. Peter

Description: A celebration in honor of Saint Peter, patron saint of fishermen, held at the port of Sciacca. It includes a picturesque procession at sea with the statue of the saint, folk performances, live music, and tastings of seafood specialties such as giant pan-fried shrimp.

Period: It takes place every year at the end of June, generally between June 26th and 29th.

Azzurro Food Festival

Description: A food festival dedicated to bluefish, livening up the historic center and waterfront with street food stalls, cooking demonstrations, concerts, and shows. A perfect opportunity to discover local flavors and experience the city's festivities.

Period: From August 20th to 23rd 2026.

"Sciacca, Ceramica d'Autore"

Description: Manifestazione dedicata alla storica tradizione ceramica della città. La terza edizione dal 18 al 20 Settembre 2026 per valorizzare il ruolo di Sciacca come città simbolo della ceramica siciliana, evento organizzato dal Comune con la partecipazione dell’AICC-Associazione Italiana Città della Ceramica e della Rete delle Strade della Ceramica.

Period: Terza Edizione dal 18 al 20 Settembre 2026, Piazza A. Scandaliato. 

Description: Francesco Baccini a Sciacca, Sergio Cammariere a Castelvetrano-Selinunte, Nino Buonocore a Ribera. Sono tre dei dieci appuntamenti della terza edizione del Festival del Mare e del Gusto organizzato dal Gruppo d’Azione Locale della Pesca (GALP) “Il Sole e l’Azzurro, tra Selinunte, Sciacca e Vigata”.

Period: Sabato 25 Luglio 2026 ore 21:00.

The Kolors, Live a Sciacca

Description: Grande appuntamento con la musica dal vivo in estate. L’attesissimo concerto del 27 Luglio 2026 per infiammare il cuore di Sciacca con le hit travolgenti della band italiana, un evento imperdibile promosso dal Comune all’interno del programma estivo con il supporto dei partner ufficiali dell’evento e delle autorità locali.

Period: 27 Luglio 2026, Piazza A. Scandaliato. 

Description: Manifestazione dedicata alla migliore tradizione culinaria di strada. La nuova edizione dal 18 al 20 Luglio 2026 per valorizzare il gusto a Sciacca come città simbolo della cucina siciliana, evento organizzato dal Comune con la partecipazione di operatori e della Rete delle Strade del Gusto e dell’artigianato.
